United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties Announces 10th Annual Givers Gala
St. Augustine, FL – United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties is pleased to announce its 10th Annual Givers Gala, taking place on Saturday, January 30, 2027, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach. Community members, partners, and supporters are invited to an unforgettable evening celebrating 70 years of connection, generosity, and meaningful impact.
United Way is honored to recognize The Hutson Companies as this year’s Presenting Sponsor and Ring Power CAT as the Platinum Sponsor and Exclusive Cocktail Sponsor. Their leadership and generosity help make this signature event possible.
This year’s elegant Garden Soirée will set the stage for an unforgettable evening as United Way kicks off a year-long celebration of 70 years of impact throughout St. Johns and Putnam Counties.
The evening will begin with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail hour, where guests will enjoy a garden-inspired ambiance featuring live painting by Jenna Fine Art Studio, a St. Augustine-based artist whose work has received national recognition, along with a guest sketch artist and live violin music. The original painting created during cocktail hour will be auctioned off later that evening during the live auction. Guests will then enjoy a chef-crafted dinner, signature cocktails, and the excitement of live and silent auctions benefiting programs that strengthen and uplift our local communities.
Since 2020, United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties has helped local communities thrive by investing more than $10.8 million in critical community needs, empowering over 160,000 individuals with life-changing resources, distributing 161 tons of food to those most in need, and helping local residents receive more than $6 million in tax refunds through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
The evening will also include special recognitions of distinguished community award recipients who exemplify service, leadership, and generosity. Attendees will hear powerful stories of resilience and transformation—reminders of the vital role United Way plays in building stronger, more equitable communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Following dinner and presentations, guests are invited to continue the celebration on the dance floor with live entertainment by Bay Kings Band as we honor the collective spirit of giving that fuels lasting change throughout our region.
