Many families in St. Johns and Putnam Counties have to choose between putting presents under the tree and keeping the lights on.

Every child deserves to feel special during the holidays — and you can help make it happen! The Empty Stocking Fund is possible because of people just like you who donate and allow local parents and guardians to buy food, clothing, and toys for their families during this special time of year.

About The Empty Stocking Fund

United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties works with local partners to enhance holiday programs already in place.

Families with school-aged children should contact their St. Johns County School District’s guidance counselor in the fall. Seniors (60+) are served through the programs at Council on Aging and Pie in the Sky. If you are not enrolled in these programs, you may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please call 904-829-9721 or click here to email us at info@unitedway-sjc.org if you have questions.

Our Partners

Salvation Army, Council on Aging, Catholic Charities, St. Johns County Fire Fighters, Pie in the Sky, Palatka Christian Services, and Family Integrity (Foster and Adoption Parent Association-FAPA).

How to Donate

We can’t do it all, but we can all do something. Your donation — no matter how big or small — will make a difference in the life of a child during the holiday season.
