United Way of St. Johns County kicked off its 2017/18 Campaign on Thursday, August 24 poolside at the beautiful Casa Monica Resort in downtown St. Augustine. The celebration, sponsored by Ring Power and The Bailey Group, had over 100 community supporters, donors and volunteers in attendance.
The event, which took place just two weeks before the arrival of Hurricane Irma and with St. Johns County residents still feeling the effects of Matthew, addressed the need for United Way in our community after a natural disaster.
Tony Bernados, 2017/18 Campaign Chair, announced the new goal for the new year – 1.3 million dollars. Last year, United Way-SJC surpassed its fundraising goal and will do so again this year in partnership with residents, businesses and nonprofits in the community.
Thank you for your continued support of United Way of St. Johns County – you live here, you give here, it stays here.
